Leo Po-Lin Chen is a fourth-year Ph.D. student majoring in Exercise Science. He is originally from Taiwan and earned both his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Physical Education at National Kaohsiung Normal University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He joined the Sport and Exercise Psychophysiology Laboratory in the Department of Kinesiology. Leo’s research interests include Adapted Physical Activity/ Education (APA/ APE), exercise interventions, motor skills, and cognitive function. Leo is currently working on his Dissertation on physical activity, sedentary behavior, physical fitness, and executive function in older adults. He has been working on health-related studies of special populations since his bachelor’s and will continue his dedication here is Mississippi State University with his Advisor, Dr. John Lamberth. Leo also plays Ultimate Frisbee and was a Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) National player in the 2015 WFDF World U-23 Ultimate Championships.
