Treja Wright is a Ph.D. student in the Exercise Science program. Born and raised in South Florida, Treja earned her Bachelor’s in Biology from Florida State University and a Master’s in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University.
As a former competitive cheerleader, she has always understood the several components of physical performance, however, becoming a coach developed her interest in the mental aspects of sports. She looks to expand the relationship between brain health and exercise through her research.
